A solid selection for a mini-break over the weekend in Larne with good value considering the price charged. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, making sure we felt welcome. Make sure to check for theme events, as they can get noisy at night.

The hotel boasts lovely sea views and a charming rose garden, but we encountered some issues like a lack of breakfast service and drafty rooms. Staff friendliness compensates for some drawbacks, making it a delightful option overall, particularly for those appreciating unique history and setting.

Inconsistent food quality, outdated decor in some areas!!! It clearly needs updating beyond the 90s vibes and a revamp of the menu to reflect the beautiful setting more positively. A diverse menu would significantly improve the dining experience!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful sea view from our room and the lovely grounds to stroll around. The garden area was perfect for chilling out and we loved relaxing with a drink by the firepit. Just a note, the lighting in the room could be better for doing makeup, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊
